UNIQLO Pets
Concept work
Challenge
UNIQLO Pets is a concept work that I created to showcase a potential brand expansion, but, why pets you might ask?
Well,In 2023, Americans spent over $147 billion on pet care, including vet visits, food, supplies, and more. That same year, the global pet clothing market was valued at around $5.56–$5.98 billion.According to a MetLife survey, the average American spent $4,800 on their pets, which included an average of $1,278 on food and treats and $176 on leisure items.Along with these statistics, UNIQLO is a brand that has seen exponential growth this past year. So, creating a concept like this leaves little doubt that, if it were a reality, it would be a total hit.
Goal
Showcase a thoughtfully designed pet clothing line that merges functionality with fashion. The creative vision for UNIQLO Pets was clear in my mind, leverage the essential garments from the brand to those furry companions that are ready to match your style.
Solution
With the help of AI, and the prompt engineering, the outcome looks and fits seamlessly within the brand style. With the AI image generator I developed concepts that helped me shape these diverse pet looks that resonate with both the consumer and the brand. I took great care to consider the brand’s fabrics, colors, style, and photographic aesthetics, ensuring the concept looks organic with what the brand has in store right now.
